Real Madrid are confident that Manchester United will seal the signing of want-away Welshman Gareth Bale by January, according to The Sun.
The Spanish giants believe Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are desperate to add a big name to their squad, and also feel there is a chance they can land long-term target Paul Pogba as part of any deal.
Bale had been close to a £1million-a-week move to Jiangsu Suning in China this summer, before Real Madrid pulled the plug by demanding a fee from the Chinese Super League side.
