'Scoundrels': Angry Barcelona fans jeer their fallen heroes as they return to the team hotel

The Barcelona players were jeered as they returned to their hotel in Lisbon following their harrowing 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich.

The Catalan club suffered their heaviest ever Champions League loss and supporters who had gathered outside the hotel made their feelings clear.

As reported by AS, some fans shouted 'scoundrels' at the players as they got off the team coach.



The likes of Luis Suarez, Nelson Semedo, Antoine Griezmann and Ivan Rakitic were subjected to the frustrations of the fans.

Manager Quique Setien, who Barcelona have already reportedly decided to sack, was also heavily criticised by supporters.

However, youngsters Ansu Fati and Riqui Puig are evidently popular with fans as they were applauded.

The likes of Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique were also seen getting off the coach in Portugal.

It is likely that the Barcelona players will be subjected to further criticism when they arrive back in Spain on Saturday.
