Manchester United will have key players Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba back among their ranks when domestic football resumes after both completed injury rehabilitation programmes.
An ankle injury has limited Pogba to just eight games all season for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side and none since Boxing Day while Rashford has been out since January 11 with a stress fracture.
They cannot return to full training immediately due to the coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown measurements imposed.
But along with their-team mates they could be back at United's training ground as early as May according to the Mirror.
United are stepping up plans for the players to return to their Carrington training complex.
Employees at the site including groundstaff and maintenance workers have been called back to work to begin preparation on the players returning for full training.
It is understood that this has all been done while conforming to the government's rules regarding social distancing in a bid to combat spreading Covid-19.
Although the Premier League appears no closer to securing a return date to restart, they along with many of the top flight teams are hopeful of putting together a programme that will see a conclusion at the end of June.
