McTominay returns to Man Utd squad vs Watford, Lingard & Pereira out (MEN)

Scott McTominay could make his return from injury after he was named in the Manchester United squad for their Premier League fixture with Watford on Sunday.

McTominay, 23, has been sidelined since Boxing Day with knee ligament damage but arrived with teammates at their pre-match base at The Lowry Hotel on Saturday night.



Mason Greenwood has recovered from illness, and Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes have returned to the senior squad following their appearance in an Under-19 friendly against Club Brugge on Thursday. Axel Tuanzebe, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, and Paul Pogba are still unavailable against 19th-placed Watford, who beat United 2-0 on December 22 at Vicarage Road.
