Manchester United duo Paul Pogba and David de Gea have been ruled out of Sunday's match against Liverpool, according to multiple reports.
United host Liverpool on Sunday afternoon at Old Trafford, looking to end their rivals' 100 per cent record in the top-flight after eight matches.
De Gea underwent scans on Tuesday after suffering an injury in Spain's Euro 2020 qualifying clash with Sweden, but will not be fit for Sunday's crunch clash.
Pogba, who has missed four of United's last seven games with an ankle injury, was in a race to get fit for the weekend but will also miss the derby.
The Frenchman was in Dubai over the international break for warm-weather training, but has not yet made enough progress to face Liverpool.
Injuries to the pair comes as a huge blow for boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has something of a crisis on his hands at Old Trafford.
