PAUL POGBA LIMPS AWAY AND SOLSKJAER GIVES INJURY UPDATE
The final day of the European transfer window has come and gone and Paul Pogba remains a Manchester United player.
There were concerns from fans that Real Madrid may have swooped in with a last-gasp, massive bid to try and finally capture Zinedine Zidane's number one target but they never did.
However, there is some worrying news on the Pogba front as the midfielder had to withdraw from the France squad due to injury.
Pogba had initially been set to be involved in the EURO 2020 qualifiers against Albania and Andorra in Paris but has been ruled out due to an ankle injury he picked up against Southampton.
Arsenal's Matteo Guendouzi was called up in his place.
Meanwhile, the departures of duo Matteo Darmian and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, to Parma and Tranmere Rovers on loan, were confirmed yesterday.
