Manchester United have bid £45million bid for Nikola Milenkovic of Serie A club Fiorentina as they continue to chase Harry Maguire , according to reports in Italy.
Milenkovic, 21, has impressed in Serie A since joining the Italian side from Partizan Belgrade in 2017.
United had a £36m bid for the defender rejected in January, according to the Daily Star, but have reportedly now gone back to the Serie A club with a better offer.
With regard to Maguire, the Red Devils have apparently offered current players in return as part of the deal, but the Foxes are holding out for a straight-cash offer.
Maguire, who has 20 caps, expects to get his move this summer after excelling for the Foxes since a £17m switch from relegated Hull City two years ago.
