Man utd news update live:
Marcus Rashford has called on Manchester United's resurgent front three to not rest on their laurels after their comfortable 3-1 defeat of Norwich on Sunday.
Manchester United were boosted at Carrow Road by the return of Martial who hadn't featured in the league since August, but Rashford warned his strike partners they must continue to work on their link-up play if the goals are to continue.
He told MUTV after the 3-1 win: 'I think the one thing we can improve on is making more clear-cut opportunities for each other.
'For me, that's the next step. We're creating and making each other half-chances, but, as forwards, the easier the goals you can get, the better.
'We want to be able to just square it past the goalkeeper and tap it in.
'We've been working hard and I think, if we keep that up, it'll become easier for us.'
Manchester United have found goals hard to come by following the summer departures of Romelu Lukaku (permanent) and Alexis Sanchez (loan) to Inter Milan.
Fans have grown increasingly frustrated at the lack of excitment and creativity up front, with many calling for high-profile names such as Erling Haaland and Mario Mandzukic to fill the goalscoring void.
But Rashford insisted the appetite and quality is there for Manchester United to tap into, and that the forwards' form against Norwich came down to a basic element of the game.
'I think we're just talking to each other as we're playing and it makes it simpler for you on the ball,' he said.
'If we can give information as we pass the ball it just makes it that bit more simple.'
