Manchester United fans have responded to Bruno Fernandes' Instagram apology by instructing him to sign for the Red Devils.
Fernandes apologised to the Sporting Lisbon supporters on social media, following his side's 5-0 defeat by bitter rivals Benfica in the Portuguese Super Cup Final.
Fernandes has been on Manchester United and Tottenham's radar all summer but it is the north London club who are favourites to sign him.
The midfielder alongside his agent reportedly met with Sporting Lisbon bosses on Friday to discuss a move away from the club.
As for United, they have prioritised signing Harry Maguire and fans of the Old Trafford club are now keen for them to land Fernandes.

"Come to United," wrote one fan, while another added: "We need you at United." A third said: "We're waiting for you at United," and a fourth concluded: "Welcome".
