MANCHESTER UNITED ARE 'DESPERATE' TO SIGN IVAN RAKITIC (SUN)

Ivan Rakitic's future plans remain unknown. The Croatian continues to insist that he doesn't want to leave the club. "Let's see if you will stop inventing things, I'd really appreciate that. However the rumours about his future won't go away. According to 'The Sun', Manchester United are desperate to add him to their ranks.

The same newspaper says United are worried that Rakitic has already agreed terms with Inter Milan. The Serie A side were after his international teammate, Luka Modric, for the majority of the last summer and it seems they have no changed their targets to the Barça man.
